This Regional Law enters into force on 1 April 2010.
Abstract

This Regional Law, in accordance with the federal law, determines birds subject to hunting and classified as game. In addition to bird species classified as game at the national level, hooded crow shall be classified as game and authorized for hunting on the regional territory. Game authorized for commercial hunting shall be considered: (a) mammals: ungulates - wild boar, Siberian roe deer, elk; brown bear; fur-bearing animals - wolf, fox, raccoon dog, lynx, wolverine, badger, marten, sable, weasel, ermine, Siberian striped weasel, polecats, American mink, hares, beavers, gophers, moles, chipmunks, squirrels, hamsters, muskrat, water vole; and (b) birds - ducks, wood grouses, black grouse, hazel grouse, white partridge. In accordance with federal law, commercial hunting of mammals and birds listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and (or) in the regional Red Book shall be prohibited.
