Abstract This Regional Law regulates the activity of state veterinary inspectors for the prevention, identification and repression of the violation of veterinary legislation. The scope of this Regional Law shall be prevention of the outbreak, introduction and spreading of animal diseases, including dangerous ones and those subject to imposition of quarantine. The main task of this Regional Law shall be enforcements and supervision over antiepizootic and veterinary and sanitary arrangements to be performed by the Russian and foreign legal persons, officials, Russian and foreign natural persons, and application of measures for the prevention of outbreak, introduction and spreading of animal diseases on the regional territory. It establishes competence of state veterinary supervision bodies.
