This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law delimits powers between state bodies in the field of veterinary. Regional Assembly shall perform the following powers: (a) adoption regional laws in the field of veterinary; and (b) implementation of other powers envisaged by federal and regional legislation. Regional Government shall perform the following powers: (a) participation in the implementation of federal arrangements on the regional level; (b) organization and implementation on the regional level of the arrangements for the prevention and liquidation of animal diseases, and cure of livestock; (c) protection of the regional population against diseases common to humans and animals; (d) supervision over the activity of veterinary specialists; and (e) determination the authorized state executive body in the field of veterinary.
