Entry into force notes
This Regional Law enters into force the day after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The scope of this Regional Law shall be promotion of pedigree stockbreeding by means of state support with a view of ensuring reproduction of pedigree stock for improvement of reproductive qualities of livestock by means of: (a) conservation and improvement of livestock species; and (b) setting up organizational, legal, financial and economic conditions for constitution and operation of pedigree stockbreeding organizations. It establishes jurisdictional competence of the regional state bodies in the sphere of pedigree stockbreeding. Competent authority in the sphere of regulation of pedigree stockbreeding shall be Regional Stockbreeding Department. State support of pedigree stockbreeding shall be performed through preferential taxation, non-financial public support, including extension.
