Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to ensure epizootic (absence of infectious animal diseases) and veterinary and sanitary (safety of foodstuffs of animal origin) well-being. For the purpose of this Law shall be considered animals - terrestrial, amphibious and aquatic living organisms of all types, classes and species, except for humans. Epizootic well-being shall be ensured by compliance of legal persons, individual entrepreneurs and natural persons with the provisions of veterinary and sanitary rules and regulations and observance of animal quarantine. Veterinary well-being shall be ensured through observance of veterinary rules and regulations and ensuring safety of products subject to veterinary supervision. In case of liquidation of the outbreak of dangerous animal diseases animals and animal products can be expropriated with the payment of value to the owner as compensation.
