Abstract This Regional Law establishes plenary powers and jurisdictional competence of state bodies and local government in the sphere of land relations. Regional Government shall be responsible for management of public land plots and also of land plots with undelimited ownership, expropriation of land for public needs, application of public servitude and application to land areas the status of protected areas. Local government shall be responsible for cadastre registration of land within the boundaries of municipal units, auction sale of municipal land in ownership or allotment on lease and establishment of minimum and maximum land areas allotted for smallholding and farming.
