Abstract This Regional Law regulates the issues of state support of gardeners, truck farmers, subsidiary smallholders and non-commercial associations thereof with a view of promoting subsidiary smallholding for meeting the demand of the population for vegetables and berries. Support shall be granted in the following forms: (a) propaganda of gardening and horticulture; (b) extension; (c) supply of elite seeds and planting material; (c) total compensation of expenditure for engineering infrastructure; (d) subsidies for land survey, land use planning and soil improvement of gardening and horticultural associations; and (e) preferential terms of payment for electric energy.
