Abstract

This Regional Law regulates some issues of grazing and driving of farm animals. Farm animals shall be intended horses, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry and other animals kept in peasant farms, personal smallholdings of citizens and legal entities used livestock breeding and other agricultural products, a necessary condition for keeping which is grazing. Owner of farm animals is a natural person or a legal entity that owns, disposes and (or) uses farm animals on the right of ownership or on the basis of other rights in rem. Driving farm animals shall be intended movement of farm animals from their place of permanent stay to the place of grazing and back. Grazing of farm animals shall be intended controlled stay of farm animals in the pasture. Driving of farm animals is carried out under supervision of owners of farm animals or persons authorized thereby on routes established by the local government. The procedure of driving farm animals is determined by local authorities. Places for grazing of farm animals on land plots, owned by the Republic of Altai, are determined by the authorized body. Grazing of farm animals is performed on fenced or non-fenced pastures, leashed or unleashed, under supervision of owners or persons authorized thereby. The procedure for grazing of farm animals is determined by local authorities.
