Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be: (a) to regulate relations in the sphere of hunting and hunting management; (b) conservation and reproduction of wild fauna species subject to hunting, and habitats thereof; (c) sustainable management of wild fauna species subject to hunting; (d) traditional hunting management; and (e) validation of hunting methods and hunting management. Wild fauna species and population thereof living on the regional territory in state of natural freedom shall be state property (Art. 5). State regulation of hunting shall be based upon control and supervision over hunting, concession of hunting grounds on condition of long-term management and payment for hunting (Art. 10). State environmental audit shall be compulsory arrangement prior decision-making by state bodies related to hunting (Art. 13). Rare and endangered wild fauna species subject to hunting shall be recorded in the regional Red Book (Art. 15). Wild fauna species subject to hunting shall be used for: (a) artisanal (sport) hunting; (b) commercial hunting; (c) scientific and research hunting; and (d) capture for stock enhancement, repopulation and captive breeding (Art. 19).
