Abstract Regional Red Book is an official document containing a set of documented information on the status, distribution and conservation measures of rare and endangered species (subspecies, populations) of wild animals and wild plants and fungi inhabiting (growing) on the regional territory. Each volume of the regional Red Book contains an annotated list of wild flora and wild fauna species listed in the regional Red Book, a list of wild flora and wild fauna species that have disappeared from the regional territory, a list of wild flora and wild fauna species requiring special protection measures, as well as the text of this Regional Law. To identify, register and protect rare and endangered objects of wild flora and wild fauna in the regional territory, as well as to organize state monitoring of their condition, develop and implement measures for their conservation and restoration by the regional executive authority in the field of environmental protection, may be involved on a contractual basis scientific organizations, educational and other organizations, researchers and experts.
