Abstract This Regional Law regulates legal relations arising in the field of the protection of paleontological objects and the use of paleontological samples located in the regional territory. Paleontological objects shall be paleontological reserves, paleontological natural monuments, paleontological collections. Subsoil areas with accumulations of paleontological remains can be declared state paleontological reserves. Paleontological natural monuments are territories on which there is a unique and scientifically, culturally and aesthetically valuable paleontological material. The territories declared as paleontological natural monuments are completely withdrawn from economic use in accordance with the requirements of the acting legislation. Any activity causing harm to a paleontological natural monument and its natural environment or deteriorating its condition and (or) protection is prohibited. Full text Russian Website pravo.gov.ru
