Regional Governor’s Decree No. 1011 validating the Regulation on state nature zoological reserve “Psebaysky”.

State nature zoological reserve “Psebaysky” has a biological (zoological) profile and is intended for the preservation, restoration, reproduction of economically, scientifically and aesthetically valuable wild fauna species, in particular ungulated and fur-bearing wild fauna species, classified as game, as well as rare and endangered wild fauna species included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and the Red Book of the Krasnodar Territory, and the preservation of their habitat. The reserve is formed for an unlimited period of time and without expropriation of land plots from tenants, owners and managers of land plots. The objectives of the reserve are the conservation, restoration, reproduction of valuable wild fauna species, in particular ungulated and fur-bearing wild fauna species classified as game, as well as rare and endangered wild fauna species. The following tasks are set for the reserve: (a) conservation and reproduction of wild fauna species and wild flora species; (b) preservation of the habitat of wild fauna species as a necessary condition for their existence and reproduction; and (c) maintaining the necessary ecological balance and stability of the functioning of ecosystems. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the reserve: (a) all types of hunting except for scientific research, educational and regulation of the number of wild fauna species purposes; (b) stay with firearms, hunting gear and unleashed dogs; (c) the use of poisoned baits; (d) hunting (capture) of rare and endangered wild fauna and wild flora species; (e) destruction or damage of nests, hollows, burrows and other dwellings, shelters and stable breeding grounds for wild animals, collection of eggs, except for cases of regulation of the number of objects of the animal world in accordance with the established procedure; (f) clear cutting; (g) timber extraction, except for individual personal needs of natural persons; (h) procurement of non-timber alimentary and non-alimentary resources, medicinal plants except for personal needs of natural persons; (i) burning of vegetation; (j) introduction of alien species; (k) aviation pest and disease control measures; (l) placements, storage and burial of domestic and non-domestic waste, including hazardous waste; (m) plowing land; and (n) destruction or damage of barriers, notices, stands and other information signs.
