The following activities are prohibited on the territory of the protected area: (a) allotment of land for any other types of use; (b) plowing up the territory; (c) road construction; (d) forest planting on the steppe slopes (except for protective forest plantations along the edges of the ravine within protection zone); (e) laying through the territory of pipelines, power lines and other communications; (f) littering of the territory; (g) arrangement of livestock camps, summer milking, corrals and other forms of long-term keeping of livestock; (h) organization of tourist camps; (i) making fires; (j) carrying out all types of felling, with the exception of sanitary felling; (k) change in the species composition of vegetation, including the introduction of alien species, digging for transplanting species of native flora; (l) collection of flowers, leaves, berries and other parts of rare and protected plant species, causing them any other damage (including by setting fire to dry grass); (m) hunting, trapping of animals; and (n) other types of activities not coordinated with the authorized executive body of Kursk region, exercising public administration and state supervision in the field of protection and use of protected natural areas of regional significance. Authorized uses of the territory of protected area: (a) traditional economic activities that do not lead to destruction or degradation of biocenoses; (b) scientific research; (c) educational excursions, ecological tourism; (d) haymaking; and (e) grazing of cattle and horses in the period from May 1 to October 30, subject to compliance with the established pasture load norms.
