Nature monument is one of the most valuable places in the Kursk region for the protection of floristic diversity, particularly rare meadow and steppe species of vascular plants, as well as rare representatives of the steppe fauna. Authorized uses: (a) traditional economic activities, not leading to the destruction or degradation of biocenoses; (b) geological survey; (c) scientific research; and (d) educational tours.
