Abstract

Wild animals and birds subject to hunting populating regional territory or released for reproduction to hunting grounds, irrespectively of land ownership of the populated area, shall form state hunting fund. Hunting grounds shall be classified as follows: (a) hunting grounds conceded to legal persons for long-term management in accordance with long-term state licences; (b) hunting grounds of common management that form state reserve fund; and (c) prohibited hunting areas – protected areas (reserves, nature monuments, sanctuaries and green belts). Hunting shall be classified as: (a) commercial; (b) artisanal and sport; and (c) scientific, cultural and economic. Documents attesting the right to hunting shall be: (a) hunting card; and (b) nominal once-only hunting permit. Capture and captive breeding of wild animals without special authorization by the authorized state wildlife institution shall be prohibited. This Regional Decree lists prohibited hunting gear and prohibited hunting methods.
