The of constituting nature monument is to preserve the natural complex, form protective forest plantations, create favorable conditions for mass short-term recreation of the residents of the city of Kursk, provided that the natural environment is preserved. Nature monument is a valuable undisturbed forest area with high aesthetic and recreational properties, which is important for maintaining environmental stability cities. Authorized uses: (a) traditional economic activities, not leading to the destruction or degradation of biocenoses; (b) scientific research; and (c) educational tours.
