Abstract

This Regional Decree the concept of hunting, classifies the types of hunting, gives definition of state hunting fund, establishes the possibility of use of protected areas and national parks for hunting management. It also establishes the categories of citizens of the Russian Federation that can exercise hunting rights. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 lists prohibited hunting gear and prohibited hunting methods. Section 3 concerns hunting with hunting dogs. Section 4 regards hunting of hoofed animals. Section 5 regards hunting of brown bear. Section 6 regards hunting of fur-bearing animals, badger and hare. Section 7 regards hunting of birds. Section 8 regards hunting with hunting birds. Section 9 regards capture of songbirds. Section 10 regulates the number of harmful animals damaging hunting grounds. Section 11 regards wildlife products and hunting trophies. Section 12 establishes the modalities of publication of hunting regulations, amendments thereof and addenda thereto.
