Regional Decree No. 255 validating the Regulation on hunting of wild fauna species neither subject to hunting and fisheries nor recorded in the national and regional Red Book of protected and endangered species.

This Regional Decree regulates hunting of wild fauna species neither subject to hunting and fisheries nor recorded in the national and regional Red Book of protected and endangered species, living in state of natural freedom on the regional territory. It shall be applicable to songbirds, birds of prey, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. It shall not be applicable to harmful animals. Removal (hunting, capture) of the wild fauna species can be authorized for scientific research, cultural, educational, aesthetic and commercial purposes. Indigenous small ethnic communities shall be granted preferential hunting rights related to the aforesaid species. Hunting of the aforesaid species for commercial purposes shall be carried out exclusively in accordance with hunting permits issued for payment by the competent regional wild fauna management institution.
