Abstract This Regional Decree, consisting of 6 articles and 1 Annex, creates the Underwater Archaeological Park of the Bay of Angra on Terceira Island. It regulates the authorised activities to be performed within this Underwater Archaeological Park. The Archaeological Park of the Bay of Angra aims to meet the objectives set out in Article 36 of Regional Legislative Decree No 27/2004/A of 24 August, as amended by Regional Legislative Decree No. 8/2006/A of 10 March. The limits of Underwater Archaeological Park are the coastline between Lighthouse Point, South of Mount Brazil and the bay of Waters, East of the San Sebastian Fortress, with 38 ° 38.531 coordinates 'N, 027 ° 13.065' W. and 38 ° 39.196 'N, 027 ° 12.039' W. and an imaginary straight line between them, as specified in the geographical map attached to the document.
