Abstract

This Regional Decree regulates hunting of wild fauna species neither subject to hunting and fisheries nor recorded in the national and regional Red Book of protected and endangered species, living in state of natural freedom on the regional territory. It shall be applicable to songbirds, birds of prey, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and invertebrates. It shall not be applicable to harmful animals. Removal (hunting, capture) of the wild fauna species can be authorized for scientific research, cultural, educational, aesthetic and commercial purposes. Hunting of the aforesaid species for commercial purposes shall be carried out exclusively in accordance with hunting permits issued for payment by the competent regional wild fauna management institution. This Regional Decree lists prohibited hunting and capture gear and methods.
