Abstract

The Governor establishes that regional Red Book shall be kept by the regional Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology on the basis of systematically updated data on the state and distribution of rare and endangered species (subspecies, populations) of wild animals and wild plants and mushrooms, living (growing) on the regional territory. Regional Red Book is an official document containing a set of information about the indicated objects of wild fauna and wild flora species, as well as the necessary measures for their protection and restoration. Flora and fauna species included in the regional Red Book are subject to special protection. Removal from the natural environment of flora and fauna species included in the regional Red Book shall be authorized in exceptional cases in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation. The publication of the regional Red Book shall be carried out at least once every 10 years.
