The reserve is formed for unlimited period of time without expropriation of land plots and forest plots from land tenants and forest managers. The following activities shall be authorized in the territory of the reserve: (a) haymaking; (b) fishing; (c) picking berries and mushrooms; and (d) tourism. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the reserve: (a) hunting; (b) drainage, land reclamation and plowing of land; (c) application of toxic chemicals; (d) procurement of willow bark; (e) building of residential and manufacturing facilities; (f) destruction of vegetation around dead arms of rivers and watercourses; (g) movement in motorboats, except for special means; and (h) uncontrolled tourism.
