Abstract Protected area of regional significance state nature reserve – natural park “Boeva dacha” is constituted with a view of creating a natural park in order to protect a territory of high ecological value, which is the core of the ecosystem of the central part of the city of Kursk, with a vegetation complex represented by deciduous forest, aquatic and coastal aquatic communities, occupying a significant area and serving as a habitat for rare species of flora and fauna of Kursk region, including those listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation, and providing conditions for recreation and tourism development. On the entire territory of the natural park, any activity that entails violation of the intended purpose of the natural park: (a) littering of the territory; (b) destruction and damaging of information signa and notice boards; (c) organization of events without prior permit issues by the competent regional body; (d) making fires outside equipped places; (e) grazing; (f) walking dogs; and (g) washing vehicles.
