Regional Act No. 78: Basic Law on mines and quarries.

In accordance with the principles and rules laid down in Royal Decree No. 1443 of 1927, the Region hereby lays down the legislative framework applicable to the exploitation of mineral resources (both from mines and quarries). Article 2 provides for the classifcation of such resources. Articles 3 to 5 define the content as well as the procedure to be followed to approve the regional plan relating to mines and quarries and related activities. Further provisions regard the issue of the authorizatio
