The Act establishes a Commission for the biological agriculture and establishes the functions of the Regional Agency for the Agroalimentar Sector (ASSAM). The Agency shall make experiments in the sector of biological agriculture and shall prepare the plan for the conversion of traditional agriculture into biological agriculture and promote studies in this sector. Further the Act sets out the requirements to be fulfilled in order to consider a product as biological and provides for the recognition of associations of biological producers. Biological producers will receive regional contributions for research, professional training plans and for the promotion of biological products. (17 Articles). Full text Italian
