In particular, the Region shall undertake initiatives to guarantee the development of such activities, improve related products and promote the selection of local bees. Article 2 contains the definition of bee keeper, bee hive and apiary. The Regional Counsel for Agriculture and Forestry shall approve annually the plan on interventions to be performed as per article 3. Article 4 regards the granting of subsidies. Article 6 concerns the minimum distances between apiaries; article 8 refers to the recognition by the Region of bee keepers’ associations.
