Abstract

The Region hereby promotes the rational exploitation of mineral waters, spring waters and thermal waters. The present Regional Act lays down rules governing the research, abstraction and exploitation of such waters. Articles 8 to 12 concern the issue of the permit which is required to carry out research activities. Article 14 refers to the exploitation concession. Safeguard areas shall be established, according to article 18, in order to preserve the quality of waters. Article 32 sets out penalties. Articles 35 and 36 specify the information to be shown on labels as regards mineral waters and spring waters respectively.
