Nevertheless, the interventions referred to in article 2 may be implemented in those areas, since they are not to be considered hunting activities but, instead, technical operations aimed at preserving the environmental balance. The interventions include selective killing, capture, reintroduction of species and repopulation. These interventions, which are classified under article 3, are intended, inter alia, to restrain damages on agricultural lands, forest areas and pasture areas.
