Abstract This Regional Act lays down provisions in matter of professional fishing in the inland waters of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region. Professional fishing is defined as the economic activity consisting in catching fishes, molluscs, crustaceans and amphibians in the inland waters for marketing purposes (art. 1, par. 1). The Act shall not apply to waters of the internal maritime domain. The fishing licence type A is compulsory for professional fishing.
