Abstract

This Regional Act lays down provisions concerning the production and marketing of plants and plant products and deals particularly with phytosanitary protection. A special authorization issued by the competent regional phytosanitary authority is required to produce and place on the market plants or plant products (art. 2). The Regional Register of Plant Producers is established by article 4. Article 9 sets out tasks and duties pertaining to phytosanitary inspectors. Article 11 establishes administrative sanctions. Article 13 regards the phytosnitary tax to be paid by importers.
