Mountain Communities shall play an essential role in the field. They may apply for the financial resources to be allocated by the Region in accordance with article 4. Mountain Communities are required to adopt the general development plan referred to in article 5 of Regional Act No. 11 of 27 March 1973, which actually has been repealed and replaced by Regional Act No. 19 of 1992.
