Abstract

This Regional Act lays down safeguarding measures in respect of areas of particular environment and landscape interest. A computerized information system is to be set up to collect the data and information concerning the physical characteristics of the regional territory (art. 3). Articles 5 to 14 define those areas on which particular protective measures and restrictions shall be implemented, namely marine coasts, lake coasts, public watercourses, mountains, parks and nature reserves, forest areas and wetlands.
