Abstract

The present Regional Act aims at the protection of the aquatic ecosystem and lays down rules governing fishing in inland waters. Articles 2 and 3 define the competences and functions of the Region and the Provinces in this field. Particular provisions concern repopulation, capture and protection zones (art. 6), the issue of fishing licences (art. 9) and authorizations (art. 12). Article 23 sets out the administrative sanctions to be applied in case of infringement.
