The Act entered into force on 22 November 2013.
Abstract

This Regional Act provides for the preservation and promotion of autochthonous genetic resources of agricultural and zootechnical interest, with a view to protecting agricultural ecosystems and enhancing quality production. Article 2 defines the breeds and species that are to be considered as autochthonous for the purposes of this Act. Article 5 provides for the setting up of the Voluntary Regional Catalogue of Genetic Resources.
