Abstract

This Regional Act amends and supplements Regional Act No. 16 of 1996 on forestry. It lays down new provisions concerning the prevention of forest fires and sets up a special system for monitoring forest resources. The amendments regard the elaboration of forest inventories and the Regional Forestry Chart. Further, the Act establishes the Regional Forest Committee, which shall give advice for drawing up the regional plan on forests. In addition, the Act sets up the Regional Agency for Aid in Agri
