Abstract This Regional Act encourages the improvement and protection of zootechnical resources with a view to prompting a general qualitative and quantitative agricultural development. It lays down provisions relating to apiculture. In particular, the Region shall grant subsidies as per articles 2 to 4. Bee keepers must inform every year the Regional Counsel of Agriculture, Zootechnics Sector, with respect to apiaries kept. Article 7 establishes further information duties as regards disease outbreaks. The marketing of live bees may take place only if accompanied by a health certificate as per article 9.
