In order to prevent those damages that may be caused to human health and the environment, the Piemonte Region hereby provides for the disposal, through thermal treatment, of animals which have died in farms or have been abandoned, as well as of meat or parts of slaughtered animals, if they are not eligible for destination to human consumption.
