Abstract

There is hereby established the regional system to control activities involving ionizing radiation, with a view to protecting human health and the environment against hazards. In particular, the Act defines the procedure for issuing the authorization required to carry out such activities. Moreover, it establishes the institutional framework responsible for carrying out inspections and ensuring compliance with these provisions.
