BMSY is the biomass that enables a fish stock to deliver the maximum sustainable yield. Measures concern Total Allowable Catch and catch and landing restrictions, also specifically applying to small swordfish. CPCs shall issue specific authorizations to vessels 20 meters LOA or greater flying their flag that are authorized to fish for North Atlantic swordfish in the Convention area.
