In particular, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy shall establish a master plan for radioactive waste management to ensure the safe and efficient management of radioactive waste. Article 13 deals with transfer of radioactive waste and article 18 provides for the establishment of the Korea Radioactive Waste Management Agency. This Agency shall undertake the following: 1) Radioactive waste management services; 2) Business entrusted by the Government pursuant to this Act or any other statutes; 3) Other business stipulated by the articles of incorporation of the Agency as necessary to achieve the objectives of its establishment.
