These regulations enter into force on 24 May 2016.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 63 sections divided into twelve Parts and completed by three Schedules, provide for the following issues: Licensing, Registration, Accreditation and Issue of Certificates of Compliance (Part 2); Radiation Management Plans, including Information to be contained in radiation management plans (Part 3); Dose limits for occupational exposure of persons, for public exposure of persons, and Occupational exposure to radon-222 (Part 4); Storage (Part 5); Transport (Part 6) Disposal (Part 7); Fees (Part 8); Banned Radiation Sources (Part 9); Exemptions (Part 10); Registers (Part 11); Infringement Notices (Part 12). Schedules specify Fees; Banned radiation sources and Infringement Notices.
