A source means anything that may cause radiation exposure such as by emitting ionizing radiation or releasing radioactive substances or materials. The application for registration shall be done by the owner with the Chief Radiation Protection Officer in such form and in such manner as may be determined by the Authority. The Authority shall decide on the application and the Chief Radiation Protection Officer may, on receipt of an application, require the applicant to submit such additional information as may be necessary in support of the application.
