The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 July 2006.
Abstract

The present Ordinance comprises a new set of special regulations for the radiation protection of persons who perform a function on board of an aircraft. Under this Ordinance aircraft operators are obliged to conduct an estimation and, in case of a possible exceedance of 1 mSv, an assessment of the dose of the air crew. The text consists of 10 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Occupationally exposed persons (2); Maximum permissible dose (3); Basic obligations of aircraft operators (4); Evaluation points (5); Physical control (6); Medical control (7); Duty to inform (8); Data transmission to the Central Register (9); Entry into force (10).
