Abstract

This Act makes provision with respect to the control of rabies. It provides for the control of (straying) dogs and grants power to the Commissioner of Livestock and Entomology to prohibit, with the approval of the Minister, the entry into Uganda of any animals from any country where rabies is known to exist.
