The Order grants authority to the Fédération des Producteurs Acéricoles du Québec to regulate the marketing in bulk, in interprovincial and export trade of maple sap and maple syrup produced in Quebec. Furthermore, the afore-mentioned Fédération is authorized to fix and impose, by order, and collect levies or charges from persons who are engaged in the production or marketing in bulk of maple sap and maple syrup and is entitled to use the revenue for its own purpose.
