Abstract

The present Regulations enact section 34(1) of the Lands Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the exploration of pits and quarries. Section 4 establishes that no one shall remove materials from, or carry out a pit or quarry operation on Yukon Lands without a permit issued under these Regulations. The text - consisting of 51 sections - deals with the following matters: administration, royalties, rental fees, public quarry, operation and rehabilitation plan and inspectors.
