Abstract

These Rules are setting the procedures in relation to the sanitary-health security in sea and land traffic, in terms of necessary quarantine and disease treatment, in strict relation with the provisions and indications of the Gibraltar Quarantine Act (Section 4). One of the practices here mentioned is the “deratisation certificate” and “deratisation exemption certificate” that mean respectively a deratisation certificate and a deratisation exemption certificate issued in conformity with Article 28 of the International Sanitary Convention of Paris, 1926, at a port which has been notified to the United Nations World Health Organisation as possessing the equipment and personnel necessary for the deratisation of ships.
