Abstract

This Order declares melon thrips as a quarantine pest for purposes of section 35 of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority Act. The Schedule describes this pest and the plants it feeds on. The Order further declares infested areas, requires persons to notify occurrence of the pest and prohibit the possession, carrying or importation of any plant material, cut flowers or plant products from infested areas without the prior written approval of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority.
