Pursuant to section 4, the Minister may designate as a quarantine officer for the purposes of this Act any person who, in the opinion of the Minister, is qualified to be so designated. Sections 5 to 20 make provision for various measures relating to inspection of imported goods and quarantine, including desinfesting and vaccination. The Governor in Council may make Regulations for purposes set out in section 21. Section 22 prescribes offences and punishment.
