The Act also provides for the disinfection of means of transport and for the inspection of imported goods. The Minister may make Regulations prescribing all matters which by this Act are required or permitted to be prescribed including precautions to be taken to prevent the ingress to or egress from a vessel of rats, mice, mosquitoes or other vermin or species or kinds of animals or insects liable to convey disease.
